Description:

PARTICULARS
* YOB (hull): 1942 by Chantiers C. Meyntjens fils (Antwerp, Belgium)
* Design by Sparkman & Stephens
* Served as a patrol boat without rigging during remainer of WW2
* YOB (yacht): 1956 by De Vries Lentsch (Amsterdam, Netherlands)

REFITS

DIMENSIONS
* 64′ /20m (LOA)
* 13,11′ /4,25m (Beam)
* 9′ (2,9m) (Draft)
* Full (long) Keel
Remark: Due to “Amor Maris” being rather “slim” (by modern standards) one of the usual 16m berths in Marinas will serve her perfectly thus potentially reducing marina-fees quite a bit!

CONSTRUCTION
* Hull: Hot riveted steel plates on steel frames – replaced almost entirely during major refit 1968/Greece.
* Deck: During the refit in 1968 the original deck of some 30mm was replaced by an unbelievable 68mm of solid teak taken from a 100 year old cargo ship!
Teak is bolted directly onto the steel-deck frames, no steel-deck in danger of rusting away in-between!
* Superstructure: Solid old Teak and Mahogany varnished and meticulously maintained.
* Interior: Solid old Mahogany (no plywood!)

RIGGING
* Sloop (the original yawl-design seems to have been sacrificed for a more modern sloop rig during the 1968 refit)
* Stainless steel (over-dimensioned) on solid chain-plates
* Aluminium mast
(Mast and Rigging new in 2007, Italy)

SAILS
* Full Batten / 3-Reef/ Main, Hood, excellent condition. (2008)
* Lazy-Jack & Lazy-Bag System, UK-Sailmakers, Benalmadena, (2013)
* Roller-Furling Genova, Hood, excellent condition (2008) – currently receiving a new UV-strip.
* Profurl Elite furling system (overhauled 2013/2014)
* Genacker “in the sock”, Hood, (2009)
* 3 x Lewmar Halyard-Winches 4 x Andersen Sheet-Winches (self-hauling) – overhaul 2013/2014;

STEERING
* Full Attached
* Hydraulic Wheel Steering (heavy duty & massive)
* Autopilot (separate hydraulic system) constant heavy duty pump
Remark: Entire steering has received a total refit during 2013/2014 with all new, hand-made thru-hull, bushings & bearing, and entire assembly!

MECHANICAL

(Plenty of spares. Chart Table & Doghouse either red or white light)
